Families event at the public library where parents and children can come together and participate in centers. The focus of the centers will be on movement and art, with the idea that early literacy is behind all of the centers. Parents will learn movement songs, rhymes, and crossing midline and rhythm games that they can do at home with their children. There will have tie-in books available to bring home, as well as hand-outs with early literacy tips and sign-ups for 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten. Centers will be from 10:30-11:30, free play until noon, and then lunch.
